Aqua Flow Yoga Classes

Aqua Flow Yoga offers unique & nurturing aqua yoga classes for pregnancy, health & beyond.

Classes are suitable for beginners and everyone regardless of age, fitness, swimming ability or whether you have practiced yoga before.

Everyone is welcome to experience this magical journey

Aquanatal Classes​

These classes are small, friendly and suitable from 14 weeks of pregnancy.

 

A beautiful way to bond with your baby and meet other new mums. No experience necessary and all levels of fitness and swimming ability welcome. All courses are a 4 week journey and run in continuous blocks.

If you are pregnant our small and friendly group size is the perfect way to build new friendships with other pregnant ladies in a supportive and relaxing environment.

Aqua Yoga for Health

Aqua yoga in warm water is a fantastic way to help muscles relax, improve circulation, and can be incredibly therapeutic to sooth the body and mind. Exercising in water puts less strain on the joints and provides a greater range of motion. The supportive environment of the water can also help people who are overweight or obese

 

Aqua yoga can be beneficial for:

  • Back pain

  • Aches and pains

  • Arthritis

  • Fibromyalgia

About Me

Hi name is Claire, firstly a warm thank you for visiting my site! 

A little bit about my journey with water...

I have always gravitated towards the ocean since I can remember. The sound of the waves crashing against the shore seems to put me in to a deep meditative state of calm and a inner sense of peace.

 

I have a great respect for the ocean and how both our physical and emotional being is in essence guided by the tides and rhythms of the deep seas.  I have been fortunate to have spent many of my working years in the water as a diver, snorkel guide, marine photographer and aqua yoga teacher.

 

Aqua Yoga entered my life at a perfect time. During my pregnancy. I searched for a prenatal yoga class and I stumbled across a nearby aqua yoga class. I instantly fell in love with the practice as I grew and soothed my baby and connected with the source of life. I instinctively knew that combining my passion for yoga with the element of water was to be the start of a unique and beautiful journey.

 

After practising aqua yoga I feel lighter, calmer, kinder and more anchored in the present moment. I hope to share my  experience with aqua yoga and the calming effects of this serene practice with you. May aqua yoga bring you as much joy, health and happiness as it has to my life. 

 

Qualifications

I am a fully insured and certified Birthlight Aqua yoga teacher (recognised by the Royal College of Midwives) and a trained rescue diver (PADI). I also hold the safety award for teachers L2 (STA). I am an experienced Dive master (PADI), underwater photographer and a passionate yogi. Additional training from my travels in India include reiki, vipassana meditation, and ayurvedic yoga massage.
